My second graders have been doing so many wonderful things! Last week, my second grade classes at Ashaway and Richmond wrote letters in Spanish thanking veterans for their service. These letters were mailed out to Operation Gratitude so that Veterans will receive them. The picture below is from Miss Cormier's class at Richmond. Kohen wrote that he is thankful to veterans for keeping our country safe and working hard. All 5 of my grade 2 classes wrote a book on the weather and seasons and we have been reading it in class. Below are pictures of students reading with a partner and reading aloud to the class.
