Happy first day of fall! Below I have shared a picture of what Kindergarteners have been working on. They made self-portraits and wrote their name on the bottom with "me llamo..." which means "my name is...". If they have not brought there own self-portrait home, they will be soon! The example below is from Mrs. Abbott's class at Hope Valley. I also wanted to share with you this adorable picture of Miss D'Agostino's class at Hope Valley on Thursday. We were singing our numbers song (uno, dos tres, cha-cha-cha) when some students decided to start a conga line! I even asked if they knew what it was called and a few students did know what it was a conga line. I think other students wanted to join in but were nervous about getting in trouble. Next time, I'll have to get them all dancing around the room! I will be at Hope Valley for Open House next Wednesday... you can find me helping out with the book fair. I was not at Ashaway Open House but am available to talk if you send me an email or request to meet with me. Have a good weekend!
